Home renovations
Kitchens, bathrooms and whole-of-house reworks. We open up dark, closed-in plans, rebuild wet areas properly with new waterproofing and services, and detail the joinery to the same standard as our new builds.
Much of the Northern Rivers housing stock is older timber or brick — beach houses around Suffolk Park and Lennox Head, farmhouses through Clunes, Federal and Mullumbimby. Renovating them well usually means dealing with what's behind the lining first: rot, dated wiring and plumbing, uninsulated roofs, floors that have moved. We price that work openly rather than discovering it later.

Home extensions
Additional wings, second storeys, studios and garages that read as part of the original house rather than something bolted on — matched in roof pitch, eaves, cladding and window proportion.
Extensions are the most common way families here get the space they need without leaving a street they like. We handle the tie-in carefully: new footings and framing tied to the existing structure, weatherproof junctions, and staging that keeps the house liveable while work goes on. We also work with your designer on the council and DA documentation across Byron, Ballina and Lismore local government areas.

Decks & outdoor areas
Hardwood decks, cantilevered balconies, slat screening, pool surrounds and covered outdoor rooms — built for how much of the year is spent outside here.
Deck construction close to the coast is unforgiving: salt air, driving rain and strong UV. We use durable local hardwoods, hot-dip galvanised or stainless fixings, proper ventilation under the frame, and finishes chosen for the exposure of the site — whether that's an open coastal aspect at Broken Head or a shaded hinterland block at Newrybar. Outdoor kitchens, pergolas and pavilions can be built into the same job.
